Motul Oil


Motul oil was established in 1853 and is a French based lubricant producer that built a reputation as a leading innovator of quality products. Some examples include: the first oil company to develop a multi-grade motor oil (1953); the first oil company to develop a semi-synthetic motor oil (1966); the first oil company to develop a fully synthetic motor oil (1971) and now the first oil company to develop a hybrid-specific motor oil ( 2016).
Motul is a major sponsor in motor and motorbike sport. For example, Motul is the name sponsor for the Super bike world championship including the Motul Phillip Island, VIC, Australian rac
e, the Motul Paris-Dakar Rally, a name sponsor in the 24 hour Le Mans race in France and several other events including Moto GP, World Rally championship and many more.


MotulTech
Motul formed MotulTech as the marketing and development arm of its industrial Lubricant range of products in 2001. In 2006 Motul acquired the Italian Baraldi Group to add the Baraldi specialist extrusion and high pressure die casting products to the MotulTech list of products. MotulTech food grade lubricants are all FDA and NSF certified. And its Bio-degradable hydraulic fluid is both European Union Ecolabel and Swedish Bio-standard approved.
